Chapter Three

“What on earth was that?!” Robert exclaimed, flabbergasted.
“I have no idea,” Kelly answered.
“We better call the fire department,” Robert said, “before the whole town burns down.”
Moments later, the familiar sirens of the fire trucks came closer to the damage. Robert could also see a few U.S. Detectives in their cars too. They pulled into the driveway and the detectives hopped out.
One, who looked like the leader, came up to them and shook Robert and Kelly’s hands and said, “My name is Jacob R. Panshake,” he said, “what caused this accident?”
“You probably won’t believe this, but an object that looked like a pancake crashed into the roof. Luckily, my friend and I jumped out just in time.” Robert said.
“What makes you think we’re friends? We literally just met,” Kelly said.
“Anyway, we need to check out this ‘pancake’,” Jacob said, sarcastically.
        “We’re serious!” Robert insisted.
“One way to find out,” he replied.
He walked over to the wreckage and moved some rubble to the side. His jaw dropped to the ground. What he saw was really weird. It was a silver disc with a strange creature in the pilot’s seat, obviously unconscious and not human. It was a green, hideous creature with giant eyes the size of golfballs.
“I don’t believe it,” Jacob exclaimed. “It’s a real alien!”
